I finally got my shiny new 5820K system up! It's tentatively at 4.5Ghz, but I haven't even started real stress testing yet. The build was delayed because I had to RMA the ASUS X99-PRO mobo.

I can't get the BIOS to set up RAID with the two NAS drives. It keeps wanting to raid together the SSD and one of the NAS drives. o_O

System Specs:

5820K @ 4.5Ghz
ASUS X99-PRO
16GB G.SKILL 2800 DDR4
MSI Gaming GTX 970
240GB Seagate SSD
2x HGST 4TB NAS
Corsair H110
Phanteks High Static Pressure fans
Corsair HX750 Gold
ASUS 16X DVD/RW
Jonsbo W2 Black Case

Now I just gotta figure out what to do with my 4770K rig. ;)

That's a great looking setup. Excellent cable management. If you're looking for a home for your old rig you can always send it my way.

Eh. Never liked Asus. Nice boards but you are really paying for their name. And hearing about the Deluxe frying CPUs I'll be staying away. Not surprised you had to RMA.

That should just be a matter of leaving the SSD out of the RAID set when you're initializing it. If you can't get the BIOS interface figured out, you can always install Windows with the mobo set to RAID mode, but without creating any RAID volumes. Then you can set up the RAID with the Windows RST package.

Only MOBOs I've used myself for decades, to each their own I guess.

Thanks mfenn. :) Aye, I realized that was the case during work today, heh. I took the SSD off and moved it to a non-RAID capable SATA port and that fixed it. Got my two NAS drives working in RAID now so everything is purring smoothly.

Where's the PSU?

Edit: Nevermind. I googled some photos and I see that it's a very wide case, so it's behind the motherboard tray.

Are those the stock feet on the case? I just now had to place my Define Mini on the carpeted floor and need to either find some tall feet or find something better than a sheet of cardboard to place beneath it.

Yeah, those are the stock feet. I like that they're pretty tall. I can keep my case on carpet and still get some airflow underneath.
