New 4000+ temp

I'm pretty sure it's fine but just checking. The room is probrably about 85 degrees, that would be my guess. My CPU temp is 38 degrees while idle and I think it probably went to about 46 degrees while under load. My motherboard temp seems to be higher then my CPU, it's sitting at 41 degrees while idle.

It's all air cooling and I keep the cover to my case off. What do you think of the temps?

my room is about 76 f, I used to have an fx55 in here. It ran 35-37 idle and about 45 loaded with a zalman cnps 9700 led, so you're fine at those temps.

Not to hijack, but I have a 3000+ venice at stock vcore and speeds, Core Temp reports it idling at 32c, with room at 80f. Does that seem like the reading is a bit off?

op: those are still tolerable temperatures, but why did you take the side panel off?

chaudx: dude at default speeds you shouldn't have to worry about temps, and i couldn't tell you how accurate that is but you shouldn't worry about it, it can't be too far off and that's not too hot.

I realize it is only at stock, and there is no risk of damage, just wondering if it seems possible to run that cool. In a DFI Lanparty, air cooling, xp-90 with a slack lapping job, AS5, 5 case fans.
