A lot of people bash 3Dmark, but I think the app is OK. Everyone knows it's somewhat artificial and doesn't always correlate with real-world performance, but it was just intended (IMO) to be a "quick-and-dirty" way to measure and quantify graphics performance. I look forward to the next version.
