New 300zx

WTF! This car is almost _dead on_ a cross between a TT (thats what I thought first) and a boxter on the back. The old 300 zx's (well, last generation) look sharp even now...this thing may kind of mix too much into the crowd.

But with 260 horsepower, a sub-6 sec 0-60 if the price is right I could really want one of these! The only thing that could enhance the interior would be if they took a picture with the 6-spd manual. *drool*
 
Mazda has the new RX-8, MP3 cars, hehe Mp3. The MP3 looks so much like an aftermarket Protege, and you guessed it, it can't be an mp3 without an mp3 player 🙂
 
Do you have any links to some pics of the RX-8?? Heard about it but have never seen the thing. The RX-7 was awesome.
 
I'm a ZX TT owner and all I can say is YUCK!! That thing is fuuuugly! 😛 Why can't they just be smart and import the Skyline? They'd make a fortune!

Plus, it better have sub 6 sec 0-60 times... as it stands, I think a stock TT would blow this thing off the road.
 
That Blue MP3 on Mazda's site looks exactly like this modded Infiniti G20 that drives up and down my street every once in a while.
 
The Front of the MP3 looks like a Mustang to me.. and back.. well, definity German Inspiried there.

but the RX-8 does look good, I imagine this car will go big man, it a really clever design.. now if they just get the marketing rite...
 
Here's a picture that I took of the Z at the LA Autoshow on Saturday. I was not sold on the car when I saw the photos online but, in person it is really is quite striking. Of course, whether you like the styling or not you must admit that this car will be a pleasure to drive. The 3.5L with 260HP and torque out the ass will be bliss when mated with a six speed manual. The only question is whether or not there will be a twin turbo.

I think the interior is really nice looking. The exterior is pretty nice also, in KingHam's picture. Kind of hard to judge a car just from pictures though.
 
I think the 90 - 96 300zx's look much better. I agree that a stock 300zx TT could probably beat the new 300zx pretty handily - in both performance and looks.
 
Thanks for the link to that RX-8 Viper!!! 250 HP@9000RPM delivered to the rear wheels! Bye Bye base Z! I bet they won't be able to keep up with demand for the Turbo!!!
 
If there's one thing they definately need to change on that car it's the interior. I don't know how to describe it without simply saying "wierd" and "ugly."😕

I also think the grille leaves a lot to be desired; it makes it look like the car has some sort of deranged grin.

But do remember, its been a long time since a new car been intro by nissan. and they do make nice car...
 
I believe it will be called 350 ZX.

Anyway, I think its ugly as he**, and so does the Audi TT for that matter.
I dont think a TT would blow this away though, TT's are IMO VERY unimpressive cars.

Driving a Saab 9-3 Turbo 205hp my friend outran a 175hp TT by a fair marigin, I'd say the drivers were about equally good, and both somewhat insane.
Granted the Saab had 30hp more but it also has more than 250kg more to pull, and the TT is 50% more expensive.

But, the 350 is ugly anyways 🙂
