I was thrilled with my first monitor LCD, a 19" Acer running at 1280x1024 (75hz) with a 5ms response time.
I recently upgraded to a V7 D22W12 22" LCD and it's currently running at 1680x1050 (60hz). Both monitors are sitting side by side, running in dual mode in Vista. Due to a hot deal at Staples, I picked the V7 up last week for $200.
However, the 22" monitor just seems sluggish, even with 2D desktop use. Ghosting doesn't seem to be very apparent. When I use the secondary 19" monitor, the mouse seems much more responsive with no lag.
Granted, I know the V7 isn't a top of the line LCD, but they generally get good reviews. Is lag with large LCDs (22" or more) a common occurrence? I really figured that since each display had the same 5ms response time, it really wouldn't be an issue. Maybe I'm just more sensitive to it than others?
