I would seriously consider getting this car, provided that it offers an option for the armrest!
C'mon Honda - that is the only feature I am asking for...

Edit: The Interior shots do show a small armrest on the side of the driver's seat...Not ideal but still better than none...

The Interior is very practical. The "Magic Seat" configuration does it for me. With a seats folded, you can carry a bicycle inside...

Overall I don't find it so terrible, the fact the rear seats fold completely down is very snazzy.

I don't think Honda has that in their plans. At least no rumors as of yet to do so.
In 2010 or so we may see a Honda Fit Hybrid though.

Unless you like the shrunken minivan styling/practicality, not much reason to get one over a roomier, more comfortable, and similarly economical Civic.

The auto media will give it a pass on styling because it's a Honda. If it was a Pontiac this ugly, they would be calling it Aztek 2.0

i looked at the '08 Fit, it seems geared to 1st time buyers who want a cheap plain looking car. had a good amount of road noise too. maybe '09 fixes that.
