Same goes with the 6.0 powerstroke, they are having coldstart problems with it now. :(

That's why I waited a year into the new Ram design before I got mine. As much as I knew I should do the same for the hemi, though, I just couldn't make myself wait any longer. ;)

For the most part they look cool, the backs look to boxy.....

It's a pickup truck. Of course the back looks boxy.... it's a box!

Who wants a rectangular bed? I want an oval one!!

If people take marketing numbers before real life numbers fine thats their problem.. I like the more factual numbers myself :D

Those sales figures are good news for Ford,

I assume they haven't had to offer rebates so far on the 2004s ? I wonder how much dealing is going on, I wouldn't expect much this early on.

I didn't wait and I got screwed... 2000 LM7 had a better CAM, 24lb vs 19lb injectors, and better PCM code :|

that was the 2nd time I made that mistake (1st and LAST) but it sucked cause I needed a truck badly at the time.

That sucks. So far the only change for '04 on the hemi is it now has EGR. Apparently they've added a resonator to the exhaust too, I guess it was too loud for some people. :) But good god do we need a Superchips for this thing!

I had been waiting about a year and a half at the point the hemi came out in the 1500, and I finally said, just like with computers, you'll be waiting for forever for the next big thing, you gotta buy sometime.

It's unfortunate too. I know 2 people that actually had Ford buy their trucks back off them, they were so bad.

The folks were just in the market for a 3/4T diesel to tow their 5th wheel never even considered the Ford due to the spat of recent problems. They ended up with a Duramax and are extremely happy with it.
