I have it and both expansion packs. But what is the community one?

The Community Expansion Pack (or whatever it's called) is basically a collection of the "best" mods developed by the NWN community. The links for it can be found on the neverwinter nights site, and it includes things such as new placeables, creatures, weapons, armor, and the like. Well worth the download.

i want to get some net play going... joining random games isnt too fun though (especially when people are all over the place). i figured posting on atot would help get a little NWN community going or something (kinda like the UT2k4 server)

It's a new server but has a growing player base.

They always have. Anyone can run their own server. This server is always up, they have a team of guys who script, build, develop content, fix bugs, DM, etc... If you browse the internet games browser in NWN there is a PW tab, those are persistent worlds...
