ok peeps...i've played the demo to ds and i bought nwn...

just wanted to see what people like better. i've completed up to chapter 2 on nwn and i'm getting kind of bored of the game already. they seem to recycle that scenes and all i'm doing is running around alot. i've tried to play online but can't seem to get a multiplayer game working. this games too complicating. tell me my fellow techers should i have bought ds instead??? did i make a mistake?

btw...diablo 2 rules...if theres a game out there w/ the same intensity someone please tell me.

nwn is a hardcore rpg. if you like diablo2, you will probably like dungeon siege as they are both hack n slash. wait for icewind dale 2 to come. you might like it better.

btw,I love nwn. ds was so-so.

Well if you bored you could always go evil :). Start going into private homes and shaking people down for money at every chance you get. Some of the dialog is pretty funny.

DS got boring to me after a few days. All it is is walking from point A to B and watching the people in your party fight a couple times along the way.

Neverwinter Nights is more like DS crossed with Morrowind. A lot more story.

DS is a mediocre game IMO. It's got potential, but it has a horrible excuse for a story and the gameplay still isn't balanced (ever try to create a pure healer/spellcaster?). NWN's story isn't quite as deep as Baldur's Gate's or Torment's, but it's still very good. The toolset is also where the game shines. NWScript is awesome -- if you've got some time to play around with it, you can do things with the engine that the developers probably haven't ever thought of.
