Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale, or Baldur's Gate?

I didn't want to hijack the other fella's RPG thread, so I made this one. I was hoping for a shorter RPG, but i'm under the impression that all these are quite long. Which one is most worth playing? I may end up playing all three sooner or later.

How much story do you want in your RPG? BG 1-2 has the most (though Fallout 1-2 and Planescape: Torment are even better in terms of story).

Graphics-wise, Neverwinter is 3D like Star Wars: KOTOR so it's the best of the 3, BG and Icewind are 2D but still decent.

Length, Icewind 1 is probably the shortest though if you play just BG 1 or the original campaign of NWN neither is excessively long.

the BG series is just that a series and i can't see playing any of them without playing all 4. NWN is the way to go, get the plat pack and just skip the original campaign. start with shadows of undrentide and carry your guy over to hordes of underdark if you want or start a new one. when you beet those you still have more download expansions Bioware sells for a couple bucks or go with the free user made ones. i was feeling nostalgic lately and reinstalled all those and a few more. the dated interface on all but NWN made it hard to get back into. i'll be playing NWN for a while still. i like the stories still but game interface has come a long way and i'm not talking graphics.
