Neverwinter Nights CD's to 1 DVD?

Is there a site that explains this? I hate swapping CD's out. I am sure it's possible and could probably figure it out but I hate to waste a few DVD's trying.
 
Diamond edition is pretty cheap, OC, SoU, HotU, and three premium modules on one DVD, very good deal. IMO, HotU is FAR better than the OC. Assuming that you do not own those already......

How often does it to ask you to swap CDs while playing if you do a full install?

With the DVD edition I don't think it reads from the DVD at all except during the initial copy protection check.

The Diamond DVD is only $25 at GoGamer, and HotU is definitely worth playing. SoTU is not as good but was still fun.
 
Well I have the platinum or something that comes with expansions. I got from ebay. The original came on 3 CDs and expansions 2 CD's(1 each). It really isn't worth it to me to buy new just to get one DVD. I just figured there was a way to copy all the discs to one DVD. I was going to add the expansions on there aswell which ain't a problem.
 
I play NWN, SoU and, HotU. One of the updates on their site automatically eliminates the need to change cd's with full installs and does not ask for cd for verification. I'm sorry I don't recall which update but, it was quite awhile ago. Check the NWN fansites.
 
There was just a thread in this forum in the past week or so about merging the Far Cry cds into 1 DVD. I believe there was a working solution posted.

But, as most of you know the search function on AT is COMPLETELY useless. And I didn't make a reply to the thread, but someone else can probably find it. Hopefully the same or similar procedure would work for other games.


And man, NWN + expansions and modules gets pushed harder here than crack in the ghetto. 🙂

Yeah I remember seeing that post about a week ago and someone linked him to a site that explained it. I tried to search for it before posting but couldn't find it.

Site that is devoted to cd to dvd conversions. Although some have problems registering there, it is a great site
