Neverwinter Nights 2 Interview

I had a difficult time moving to NWN after Baldur's Gate, it just felt off for some reason. I'm very interested in NWN2 though and Obsidian's take on it. They did a great job on KoTOR II.

Thanks for the posting the interview.

Yeah, the moving to the henchman based party instead of the full party control system of BG was difficult. Henchman style still blows, but NWN2 is supposed to boast full party control. 🙂

I would prefer henchman to full party control if the Ai did not suck so bad, my henchman always gets stuck around corners and such. Being one character and being unable to fully control another makes it feel more immersive IMO, that is unto the point of the henchman running in place for 10 minutes after failing to turn a corner.......

Did you read the interview? Oct 20th.

no I really ain't interested in interviews and previews much. Just reviews and screens.

Maybe you should be more interested as they seem to answer some questions you have

I get nervous when I hear a developer talking about focusing on pleasing "the community". Online game communities may be a valid source of feedback, but any apparent concensus of opinion is skewed.

Ah well, hard to tell really. Not a very informative interview imo, but nice to get some news and see a few new screens.
