I took my girl's old machine, p3 450 slot , FIC VB-601 mobo , threw in some old harddrives that was laying around 6gig, 4gig, 4gig .. formatted the drives went to load xp pro she froze on first disk(floppy), then i tried 98se and the above response i recieve on two attempts.

found the latest bios, her stick of memory was bad( after bios update it was detected, now 384 down to 256mb), loading xp now....
if machine works properly. going to upgrade memory to max 1gig , harddrive to 40gigs & use for mirc downloads & fserv
