I don't know what I did to my laptop last night, but for some reason, I can connect to my router (excellent signal) but I can't get on the internet. There is a little error icon in the tray that says limited or no connectivity. Network connect details shows my IP address and subnet mask, but nothing else. Hitting "repair" does nothing... it just reconnects and the problem is still there. I know jack about networks, so this is driving me nuts cuz i have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Oh BTW... my laptop is a dell I8500 with a truemobile 1300. It works fine at Panera Bread Co (free wifi access). I have a linksys wrt54g router. I was messing around with "set up a wireless network for a home or small office" last night trying to connect to my desktop computer. I think it stopped working after that. Also... my desktop and other laptop have no problems connecting.

That means you failed to get an IP address (you probably have a 169 address). this is usually an ecryption thing, I would start by turning off all encryption (wep/WPA) and testing, then turn it back on, retyping the keys carefully.

I think i got it... I just removed it from my preferred networks and added it again. I must have put the key in wrong, like you said.
Thanks!
