My friend is having a lan party at his house. Last time i took it, as soon as i got home my video card stopped working, and now my parents are afraid that if i take it again it's gunna stop working...again. I've had a few problems with it within the first 1 1/2 months, but now it's all squared away.

I mean, can anyone give me a few reasons that i can tell my parents that my comp isnt gunna break or give me some packaging tips? All my cables are tied up nice, everything in there is solid, and i could put it in a box surrounded with styrofoam...

Help!

Who paid for the PC and/or the repairs? Whoever that is, should have the final say.

Antec makes a super nice carrying strap. I have a couple of them. They make it safe to haul puters around.
Without a real handle or a strap, a computer's going to get dropped, especially after you smoke all that weed.

Tell them you'll start going to bush/field parties, and hope that they don't mind being grandparents early.

Well, the repairs were all covered by warrenties, so that's not an issue.

I feel kinda dumb to be asking about this, but i wanna take it. My parents didn't have much of a problem the last time, but after that they got pretty worried.

I know the grammers not the best, but where are the spelling mistakes?

Yeah how old are you? Maybe its just that your parents don't want you to go out, tell them there will be adult supervision ;) lol ... as for transporting your computer, its called, "throw it in the trunk" If you have a half-decent machine it should be fine even if it moves around in there.

Well, the friend who's having the lan has a comp and has brought it over here 10+ times and nothing has happened, and then only 1 time with me....ahhh...it's agrivating.

Thanks for the help, i'll just keep asking i guess!

How much did you sucker them into paying for that rig? I'm guessing near $1,500.00. And for what? Gaming?

Serves ya right for this grief.

Your friend must be able to handle his weed better than you do, maybe you can ask him for pointers.

Warranties, not warrenties

Grammar, not grammer
