forget it. I will ask some people who may actually help out.

For those that gave some suggestions, thanks.

for those who made stupid comments to make themselves feel better.....no comment.

Your mom won't let you? How old are you?

I would drive, I drove from Oregon to PA in a full size F-150 loaded with stuff for about $450 in gas. Took 3 days & one 8 hour hotel stay, so call it $500 if you count the hotel.

Your costs shouldn't be nearly that much (since you said car), you could save 90% of that $2500, & could even stay a night somewhere in the middle.

uhm, i'm 21...but she pays the bills so I do what she says.

And I've done the drive before...mulitple times, but like I said, I dont want to be driving so many miles with all the snow.

But thanks AT, I appreciate your great advise....expected nothing less 🙂

OK I can respect that.

New question, why is mommy still paying your bills @ 21?

Give me $2K & I'll personally come pick you up & tow your car behind us.

I am almost at a loss for words.

You are 21 and your mommy pays the bills. Since your mommy pays the bills does she also tell you when to jerk your joint? Can you pick your nose without mommy's permission?

What a fvcking pussified wuss. You are pathetic. :disgust:

hey now no need to be a d1ck... we all have different sitations and different circumstances...

It will cost about 500-800 dollars. I recently had a car shipped from Canada to Alabama for 825. Call several different companies and get quotes.

i did the drive from dallas to ny last year, it's not that bad, weather will get warmer as you get further south...pretty good road trip...

shipping the car will be pretty costly, i actually looked up that option before deciding to road trip it to ny...iirc it was maybe $500-700ish...

It's ok. You'll be a man one day. We hope. Maybe you can take a bit of ribbing them. 🙂

You got plenty of estimates, and some good suggestions. Take a look in the phone book and have your mom call around.

But, you have to realize that vitually any question posted here is going to end up with a bunch of silly answers and responses. That's just the way ATOT works.

done it several times before and it was between 700 and 850. it just depends on the car, i mean whomever said it'll cost you $100, good luck. i bought a 740il from a dealer in la and i live in chicago. cost me 800 for door-to-door delivery without any extra miles put on the car.

No, the person who indicated $100 - meant that driving from NY to DFW would run $100.

well in gas maybe, but you're also putting wear on the car and depending on the car it might make it not worthwhile just like the example i gave you.
