edit: Hmm. I just got a freeware hex editor to see if it would do the trick when I accidentally opened the .8xp with UltraEdit which worked as a hex editor which I never thought about.
Turns out the BB 60 to BB 6D just screws up the program, but I found MiniChss (successor to Chessmaster 83+) which is smallest, newer, AND shows up in MirageOS. So, problem fixed anyway! 🙂
