Im about to pull my hair out on this one.

ok my NT 4 box and my XP box connect fine to the internet with DHCP enabled if they are not on at the same time.

However if I boot up the XP box first the NT 4 box gives a DHCP cant be started, blah blah error. And the network will not work.

If the NT 4 box is up and running and I boot up the XP box then the XP box can not connect to the internet at all.

This does not happen with my Win2000 laptop and my XP box at all. Just when I use the NT 4 box.

Im using TCP/IP with DHCP enabled, like it says to do in my DSL router how to...

Any ideals? The NT 4 box is to slow to run 2000, so its NT 4 or Win98.

This P200 is about to go out the Window

I formatted thinking it was WinNT, and put Windows 98 on it and its doing the same thing...

however my Win2000 laptop and XP machine work great.

I would just go ahead and install Win2000 on this P200 64 megs of ram, but a 1 gig hard drive wouldn't work for 2000 at all.

Any ideals? I have worked on this since 3PM today and its almost midnight... Im about to loose my mind.
