Not sure what the problem with this computer is. I've checked all the fans and loose cables. I've taken everything out, except the CPU, RAM and video card. The computer won't even go to the bios. I doubt anything is wrong with the P4 chip, as its just been sitting there running on stock speeds the past 2+ months.
I've checked the heatsink and even put some new artic silver on it. I have no idea what's going on and am pretty clueless as to what to do.
Everytime I turn on the computer it shows me the speed of the chip, then when its supposed to display the chip brand it freezes. Sometimes showing P4, and sometimes showing just part of the P as a "|"
Any help would be great. I've got several hours left before sleep and have plenty of time to troubleshoot.
