my friends have Radeons.. no problems there. Could it be a monitor issue? Also are you sure the vendor sent you two different cards? Try different monitor settings.. diff colors.. diff freq.

Just a shot at it.

never had a problem like that. When i first turn the system on, i don't get a video card POST screen like most other cards. But it works fine in Win98/Win2k. I had problems with 3035 drivers and VIA 4.29 drivers in Win2k. And sum drivers don't work with the TV Tuner, but everything else works.

I've setup 4 PC's including my own with Radeon 64's and one with a Radeon 32. Piece of cake. Put the card in, install the drivers, done. No different than nay other card I've ever used.

Never a problem with my AIW, same problem with 2 different radeons = some other problem, either you keep installing the driver incorrectly, or you have references to your old card, or some other hardware is conflicting. In other words, you may have the same problem with any other card as well.

I've gone through two different Radeon cards, both 64MB DDR engineering samples, and I've not had a problem with either of them. Radeon's are great cards, you've just got to know how to use them properly :D.
