Seeing it, too. Chair has walked off from stage. Cuccinelli, former VA atty. general, says his group wants a roll call vote on the rules, saying if a majority of the delegates of 7 states call for a rules roll call vote, it's granted, no question, via Rule 39.

I get them being pissed but honestly what's the next step provided Trump is banned? How would a random convention pick be able to seriously campaign.
They're sore losers who only want to vote Republican.

Just hope they hash this out quickly, cannot have the important stuff pushed off/canceled....like speakers Scott Baio, Antonio Sabato, Jr., and the Benghazi video (with remarks afterward by Mark Geist & John Tiegen, Benghazi Annex Security Team), all scheduled for tonight.

They seem organized none will speak to the press. No words at all.
Seems like they have a short term plan.

Because they know they can't control Trump like they can the other candidates, past nominees, and Billary. All those others are a known thing (buyable), and they don't know they can control Trump, and given the stakes, that's just not acceptable. Hell, you've got "conservatives"/Republicans who are actually publically saying Billary is someone they'd rather have than their presumptive nominee. When has that ever happened?

Heard a snippet of Giuliani. He said we should be focused on terrorists, cops being shot, not the rules...

So are these Republican Trump-haters primarily establishment Republicans (like Bush supporters) or tea partiers (like Cruz supporters)? Because frankly those two are even worse than Trump.

Thankyou for exclaiming your royal imbecility to the world, would you like to share more?

More or less months ago, what's your point really. It's not exactly boosting him atm.

Just watching the circus myself.

“Sen. Sasse will not be attending the convention and will instead take his kids to watch some dumpster fires across the state, all of which enjoy more popularity than the current front-runners,” his spokesman told The Hill.

You didn't really expect the Never Trump movement to win out ?
I sure expected it to be turned back as well.

Funny that the RNC convention leadership sure seems to be afraid of what could happen would there actually be due process.

Reminds me of what happened with Ron Paul delegates in the last convention.

Sure. How about tomorrow? Same time, same thread?

I'd rather have a Berlusconi-esque buffoon like Trump as president than someone who is intelligent but has completely delusional beliefs (e.g. Bush and Cruz).

Realistically I don't expect it to be a problem, though, since Hillary is going to win anyway.

Ted Cruz might be the same or worse, but neither of the Bush presidents were even close to Trump.

Grandstanding. It will be resolved by prime time tonight, probably by a voice vote and a very questionable call by the presiding official against the Never Trump crowd.

Something like this happens every four years, often to both parties. In this age of 24 hour news channels everything has to be hyped as a crisis and/or cliffhanger.

That was like 1 or 2 hours ago already.

Still doesn't address what the next
Steps are. Do they really believe their voters would be more excited with someone else?
