*Died in 2005

SI.com reported Monday that Orton allegedly received eight prescriptions for six different drugs -- including stanozolol, nandrolone and testosterone -- between March 2004 and August 2004. According to the documents SI.com reviewed, two doctors whose names also appear in Gary Matthews Jr.'s file wrote prescriptions for Orton.

Orton, through the WWE, declined comment, SI.com said.

In its review of documents, SI.com reported it found Adam Copeland, a.k.a. "Edge," and Shane Helms, a.k.a. "The Hurricane," received HGH from Applied Pharmacy in Mobile, Ala., one of the pharmacies raided in the investigation led by Albany, N.Y., District Attorney David Soares.

Through the WWE, Copeland and Helms didn't respond to a request for comment, SI.com said.

WWE spokesman Gary Davis told SI.com that WWE policy prohibits performance-enhancing drugs but would not say whether any wrestlers have tested positive since the policy was enacted.

Also linked to the scandal, in various reports, are baseball's Jose Canseco, John Rocker, Jerry Hairston Jr. and David Bell, former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, Pittsburgh Steelers doctor Richard Rydze, 1996 Olympic wrestling gold medalist Kurt Angle and bodybuilder Victor Martinez.

Monday, SI.com also reported Arizona doctor David Wilbirt's name has come up in multiple files, including those of Angle, Oscar Gutierrez (stage name Rey Mysterio) and former WWE star Eddie Guerrero, who died in 2005.

Through the WWE, Gutierrez declined comment to SI.com about the report that Wilbirt had prescribed him nandrolone and stanozolol.

Wilbirt told SI.com he's not practicing medicine now.

"I'll tell you one thing and then this conversation is going to end," Wilbirt told SI.com when asked about the professional wrestlers. "They had done blood work and had laboratory work done and they had come to see me."

I'm surprised there aren't more from Pro BB. They are even more obvious than Pro Wrestlers.

And in response all I can say is DUH.

Looking at some of the professional wrestlers nowadays I cant see how they cant be on anything but steriods.

not to mention the occasional references on cold pizza since they had some baseball players involved at a pay per view.

who cares if they are. wrestling is entertainment and scripted. The only wrestler i would question would be Kurt Angle since he was an olympic gold medalist for wrestling.

TNA has been on ESPN numerous times. But to the topic, the full article states that the wrestlers received prescriptions for various reasons. I believe the problem was that they had them after the prescription.

Who cares if they take steroids, it's not a sport, there is no real competition, everything is choreographed and carefully planned. Steroid use could actually enhance the entertainment value of it. Although it wouldn't be good for the athlete involved.

All of the wrestlers have had some serious injuries in the past two years, so its my guess each one was given these to aid in the healing process. Its still ridiculous to do that knowingly to yourself, but given the fact that most wrestlers are in the business for not much more than 10 years (Flair, Hogan and a few other exceptions) and they have no retirement plan to speak of. When you compare them to NFL stars, the career is nearly equal and the pay is much more for NFL players, but the NFL players also have a retirement plan in place ... wrestlers need to make their $$$ and hope to retire somewhat healthy with a solid investment plan in place.
