So, I just purchased the Corsair K70 RGB keyboard and am simply trying to install some user created lighting profiles (or "import" them would be more correct) from the official Corsair website. However, instead of being straightforward .zip files like I expected I am seeing this key icon next to the files after download that I have never ever seen in my life. I have been using computers for well over a decade and have never come across this before.

Anyways, I simply can't install/import any profiles from Corsair and seeing this weird icon actually has me worried something is going on with my computer as a whole. I have installed both the latest firmware and software for the keyboard so it is 100% up to date.

Its like its asking me for some sort of supervisor PW? I am the only user on my PC, its a personal home computer. I have never set or been asked for a PW, I would be the administrator

That is a PICS rules file, usually has a .prf extension.
If you don't trust it, then upload it to https://virustotal.com/

As for what it is saying, most likely it is just s UAC access thing that will pop up asking you if you want to install blah blah blah... it won't actually ask you for the password to your account.

PICS rule file, .prf , Corsair profiles... are those also .prf files? If so, perhaps you shouldn't just double-click them, maybe that's the problem.
