first, I'm Jewish. second, i am don't believe in god so i guess I'm an atheist. nothing bad has happened to me. I'm still alive.

Regarding #3, I find it curious that the only thing that separates a "load" and a "religion" is time.

i.e. How do you know this isn't the case:
.0001% of those who mock God die a horrible death
10% of those who mock God live longer

Maybe God doesn't mind being mocked? Maybe he rewards more people than he strikes down?

Personally, I wouldn't have the audacity to claim I know God's plan.
