Does anyone know how to fix this? It's happening on my bro's IBM Aptiva 2178/87A. Neither the mouse or the keyboard work when he boots into Windows XP SP2 (although the keyboard works in BIOS Setup).
I looked up and it's something to do with the System Board. I hope not. He's using the original keyboard that came with it, plus a Microsoft Optical Mouse plugged in using the USB-PS/2 adapter.
