cliffs....

-Moved into apartment. Looked good when we saw it, but after tenants moved out...WOW...what a shit hole. Turns out they made it look better than it was b/c they bought a house and were breaking the lease.

-They had put their own floor over the landlord's

-The kitchen is nasty! The dishwasher does not work. We spend a whole day just cleaning it. We find mouse traps everywhere.

-While we are sleeping, we hear this loud snap and squeak/squeal. It was the loudest little squeak I have ever heard. I mean, wow, it woke us up. We check around the apartment. I look under the sink. I see blood coming from a trap we did not put there. It's one of those enclosed ones. Yeah...you know in Dumb and dumber when Petey gets his head ripped off. I think that is what happened to this mouse. I peaked through the hole....nasty. That sound and image will forever haunt me. That said, it's a mouse, so meh.

He cleaned it. It still looks like shit. The place is just a shit hole. I am trying to find a way out of the lease. East Cambridge blows. What sucks even worse...the person below me is a pot head and I know when she is lighting it up because the smell creaks into my apt every time. It's like I live above Harold and Kumar.

Better than them having an addiction to

Cheeseburgers = Smelly Gas
Video Games = Loud gun sounds, cheers, yells
Cigarrettes = this smoke is actually bad for you
Alcohol = loud and obnoxious, hard to deal with
Sex = Yells, grunts, loud prayers to god that never finish (oh god!.....)

You should feel lucky you have a pothead below you and not one of the above mentioned "heads".. If you ever have a problem with them, they will be easy to talk to.
