that makes 2 of us....anyone read the book as a child? Probably the longest book I read as a child...think it was like 800-1000 pages. There's at least twice as much story as in the original movie. I remember there was a sequel to the movie that sucked real hard but I forget if it followed the rest of the book.

Yes...the book was great. And I agree. the sequel sucked.
 
I loved that movie as a kid. It was the only movie I ever wanted my babysitter to rent. And I had to bury my face into a cushion out of fear, when he sees the paintings near the end and sees the wolf painting.

I turned off the sequel after like 10 minutes. I heard there was even a third???
