So I get a message from my sister in law last night that her Toshiba laptop has pulled the "system32 configuration file" stunt.
I haven't had to deal with this one in a while, but I recalled it before & remembered it was one of those fixes that was border-line ridiculous vs. format/reinstall. (When running Windows just remember format/reinstall for everything for best results, right?) LOL
So anyway, in refreshing my memory, I was able to recall all the horror that is............"fix XP boot errors"..........
First up, MS's fix........who's sister-in-law is ever gonna go thru THIS bullsh!t?? 😕

And then, just a random forum site w/ multiple forms of repair (most of which don't work)......

Gotta love it, eh?
