Somebody told me how frightening it was how much topsoil we are losing each year, but I told that story around the campfire and nobody got scared.
 
One time I looked in the mirror and didn't see myself in it. I thought that I had become a ghost but then I realized that it was just a window.
 
Reminds me of the time that I showed my 13 year-old daughter my Suzanne Vega's Solitude Standing cd cover and asked "Doesn't that look like Carrie (Sissy Spacek)?" and she answered "Yes. It does.".
