they provide the warranty, the manufactuer (gigabyte) doesnt respond to emails on a timely basis other wise id have dealt with them. but they said to try and contact the manufactuer first. and if you manually set the voltage to 1.5 which is the default setting for a norhtwood the board wont boot no matter what fsb you run it at.
so unless you like sticking your foot up your ass dont post something you dont know about. STFU. >>
Your beef is with the manufacturer, not Googlegear. You can piss, moan, bitch and insult me all day, but you aren't going to change that fact. Googlegear is NOT responsible for GB's crappy service.
I hope Googlegear wins the dispute with MC, as they should. You waited at least 15 days too long, and Googlegear has a contract that YOU agreed to by clicking "buy" when you purchased your mobo.
BTW, Strawberrymom, isn't this the VERY SAME mobo you touted on the boards for over a moth as the best, most stable mobo out there??? The only thing I feel sorry for, are poor people who listened to you. >>
I wish I worked for her cc, I'd deny her claim sooooooooooo quickly and have just as much fun explaining to her why ... customer ignorance.
