so my very active very crazy kitten just got back from getting its balls waked off. vet said to keep him relaxed and calm for the next week and away form my other cat and dog.

I thought yeah prolly best he is going to be in alot of pain and just want to sleep.

ummm he is prolly as nuts as he was pre surgery. just just tried to climb the freaking house tree in the office where he is....I hope that those stitches are resilient because short of keeping him in a cat carrier he isn't slowing down.

If I was a cat and someone cut my nuts off, I would claw their eyes out while they slept.

Do you really blame the cat for being mad? How would you feel if someone just up and cut your balls off? Would you be happy?

When my cat got spayed she was back to normal in a day or two and that's much more extensive surgery than neutering. Thank you for doing the responsible thing and getting your cat fixed!

Stitches? I thought they used super glue.

For stuff like this they use inside stitches that dissolve after x amount of time. They often put some type of glue over the incision to keep the animal from gnawing at the incision.

In other circumstances you can use super glue to repair an animal.
