Reviews say the FM transmitter doesn't work, poor support, so-so sound quality. They're probably trying to dump the product 🙁
 
Actually, they are unloading the USB1.1 interface.
I recently upgraded to the 2.0. The transfer rate is quite an improvement.

As for the FM broadcast transmitter, it's a gimmick. Making the transmitter sound clear is difficult.

The other functions are worthwhile. It certainly does more than an IPOD.

 
man have i had terrible luck.

first one i ordered (from woot) was defective. wouldn't even power on. well, ok, it powered on for about 15 seconds after charging then it died permanently.

i called support and they're based in chicago, where i live, so i took the el down there and i they couldn't fix it, so they told me i'd get another one in the mail. it arrived yesterday, and its been working... until now. it just continues to lock up when i do a sync.

the fm transmitter works ok in my car. the closer you can get it to the car antenna the better. i just throw it on the dashboard next to the windshield and it works ok at 104.1fm and 95.9fm


but its dead now anyway.
