Networking resources

I'm trying to set up a small office network, which consists of two Windows servers and 12 computers (2 macs, 10 PCs). Could someone recommend some books, articles, or online sources that would explain the ins and outs of creating networks, restricting access to certain computers, networking macs/pcs, etc.?
