Ok I am trying to secure my winxp network. Using only TCP/IP because, for some reason NETbeui refuses to work for file sharing, even when bound to it.
Anyhow, as far as sharing a folder goes, I just basically want to set up 1 folder on each machine that can be share from 2 ways, to take care fo file transfers. That's it, thats all I ever do is transfer files (and play games, but that is handled fine with TCP/IP without sharing)
Anyway, what I can't figure out is how to set a password for these folders, or to select users,so ONLY those users can use the folder. I looked through the FAQs but couldnt find anything specific, I apologize if I missed something
