I just recently purchased a Linksys Cable Router (BEFSR41) and networked my house. I used Microsoft XP's networking wizard and set up the two computers that I'm running. Both are running XP. I was wondering if the only way to share a printer is to have both computers on. Also, if i view my network connections, there's an internet gateway, and LAN or High-Speed internet. Whats the difference between the two? Both need to be enabled to have internet connection. The internet gateway popped up after i ran XP Network Wizard. It seems like the internet is running a little slower after Network Wizard was used. Thanks for your help.

The only way to share a printer without having both computers on would be to get an actual network printer that connects to the router.
