If i hook a hub and want to hook it up to my router so that i can have more computers connected to the internet, what all do I have to do to get it to assign different ip's to each computer? Or is it possible?
 
It would be better to use a switch, but if you already have the hub, then go ahead and use it. If you have your router configured to DHCP, it should automatically assign the IP addresses. Otherwise, if it's under static, you can just set it for each computer. Hope this helps. BTW: Welcome! 🙂
