There is the question:

I have three computers on a network router. How do I share a folder in computer A and only let computer B access it but not computer C? Thanks.

I suppose you'd create a new user account (with a password) on system A for system B, and only give read permissions to this specific user for the share.

Then to access the share from system B, you'd enter the username/password (and cache it if desired).

so on computer A I create a user account with the same name as computer B? Let say the computer name on B is "Comp", then I create a user account in A for "Comp"?

from what I've read, seems like I need to create a domain server. How do I do that?

Better stick to workgroup, share the folder you want with password access.
