Networking Product/Question Help

Hi,

I have a Linksys 4 Port Cable Router. I have my two desktops currently hooked up to it with ethernet cards and cables. It is not a wireless router. I recently bought a Dell laptop and want to connect it to my network wirelessly so I can share between computers as well as internet connections, I do not want a cable running to the laptop.

Is there a product that will allow me to connect my laptop wirelessly to my non wireless cable router?

I know I need a wireless NIC card but I don't have a wireless router? Is there a peripheral that connects to your router to make one connection wireless?

Thanks for your help! Reply to this message or PM me.

Jeez... $100 for the Linksys WAP11. Plus a wireless NIC. Man, that's kinda costly for only 11 Mbps of throughput.

I don't think I'll be going wireless any time soon. I'll stick with 50 foot runs of CAT5e (at least it's cheaper and 100 Mbps).
