networking old laptop to PC

I have an old Armada 1120 that uses Win 3.1. It has two PC Cards: a 56K USRobotics modem, and another card labeled "KME KXLC002". Both cards are very thin and have what look like slots to connect cables. Is there any way to easily network this computer to my PC? What cables would I need? Thanks.

Well if the KME KXLC002 card looks like a BIG phone plug, then it maybe a RJ-45 port. If it is, then you can pick up a CROSSOVER cable and connect it directly to the pc's network card. You can also get a hub and some regular network cables and connect them that way.

If that card on your laptop isn't a network card, then you should be able to get a network card for it.

Hope this helps

Even if one of the cards you mention is a NIC, 3.1 is a real b*tch to use with PC Cards. For best results, I'd try to install an old copy of at least Win95 (OSR2, preferably)
