Networking newbie...help please

The two computers I would like to network are running different operating systems. One is running XP Pro (the "main" computer we use), and the other is running 2000 pro. I have them hooked to a hub, and they both can now access the internet, but I would like to have them access each-other's drives and share the printer (now currently hooked up to the "main" computer).

OK, now I can see my other computer in the network neighborhood, but I can't access it. The other computer is running windows 2000. I set the drives that I want access to to share. What else do I need to do???
