Networking: How do I do this?

I currently have 2 computers sharing a DSL connection on a Netgear RT314 router, and I want to set up a network between these computers and another I am getting soon to use for gaming, such as playing multiplayer starcraft or half life. So, what do I need, and how do I set it up?
