Alright, I just purchased a router yesterday and got everything set up for internet sharing and file/printer sharing.

On my machine I am running win2k pro, and on the others 98/me...

Through the 98/me machines I can see all the files, even from my win2k box. Thing is, I can't see any files from any machine on my windows 2000 machine..any ideas on how to clear this up?

If you want more information I'll gladly tell ya

Thank you in advance...

Two things:

#1 is enable file and printer sharing on your Windows 98 Boxes
#2 Create at least one shared folder on your Windows 98 boxes

Reboot
Voila

The above assumes that you have everything else set up right (access to W2K pro & same workgroup & Logon Method)

yep, i did enable those...i can see the files from my win2k box from my 98/me computers...I just can't see any of the win2k box files from any computer.

Is it complaining about a password? If so, you have to add the user login names from your 98/ME machines to your user database on your Win2k machine.
