Networking cable distance from coax?

Since I dont have my wireing book close to me I wanted to see if anyone knows the answer to this. I am going to run a CAT5 cable in my house to the living room, I know that electrical wires will interfear with the signal but will a coax (cable) wire? I believe the distance is 6 in. from a 120V line but I can't remember if a coax cable will bother it.
