Has anyone heard of the book "Internet Core Protocols: The Definitive Guide" published by O'Reilly?? I'm going on holiday soon, and I need a good book to tide me over. I'm not too fussed if i'll never actually need the info, but just as long as it's quite interesting and readable. Last year i read "Getting Connected" by Kevin Dowd which I enjoyed. The reviews on amazon seem to be quite positive...

Thanks.

I've heard of it, I've read it. It's a good book if you want the protocol nitty gritty (i.e. IP, ARP, multicasting, packet formation for all of these types of things, etc.).
