Hello!

I just bought a laptop and I would like to use it a thome and at work. At work, my company has a Win NT network where my computer has a fixed IP, while at home I would like to connect to my ordinary computer with Win 2K. I have a network card and I already bought a crossover cable, but I would like to know how to set up everithing so I would not have to change all of the settings every time I come home or to work.

Another thing: is it possible to connect two computers with an ordinary USB cable (not the cables from Laplink and alike)?

Thanks, Banditbanger

If work uses private IP addresses, you could use the same subnet for home. If this is not feasible, there's a program called Netswitcher that would simplify the required reconfiguration.
