I am using 1 desktop and two exact Acer laptops, all using Vista Home Premium. Is there anyway to share other stuff than just the default Public folders? I try to share my whole C drive or my My Music folders with no luck.

When I go to my desktop and then go to my network, it is prompting me for a username and password when I try to view or browse the laptop. I have never set any password or username that I know of.
 
As a security measure you can not share the whole drive.

You can make new Folders/Directories and fully share them.

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.
