I have a four computer network in my house, with two of the computers running WindowsXP and two running Windows 98 SE. All are connected through a router to a cable modem and to each other. They all have file and print sharing enabled, and they can all see each other over the network. However, I have trouble accessing certain sections of the other WinXP machine's hard disk on each computer running XP. For example, if I'm on this computer, and want to access my server, also running XP, there are some folders I cannot have access to. Like the Windows folder, Administrator's Docs and Setting,s etc etc. I recieve this error.. I log in as Administrator on both machines. I want every single file and folder on both of these machines to be completely open to sharing over the network. Is this even possible, and if so, how do I do it? I really dislike XP's networking stuff as its so different from 98 and so much stricter... ANy help would be appreciated. thanks.
