networking an nt computer

this is my first attempt using nt. i can't just the nt machine to share its files. i have two machines on the network, they both can access the internet through my router, the nt machine has full file access on the second machine (thinkpad running winme). the thinkpad can see the nt machine, but cannot access its files.

Enable guest account in the nt server or computer that you are using... and that should take care of it..

Although enabling the guest account will work, and might be fine for your small LAN, you might as well use the security features that NT provides. Create a user in user manager, and then use that user/pass when you logon to your ME machine.
