Networking a USB printer with XP Pro and NT 4.0

Ok i have a USB printer hooked up to my good computer that has Windows XP Pro on it. The computer is on a 100baset network and the other computer is an older one that has NT 4.0 workstation. I have the USB printer shared on the XP computer, and the NT 4.0 computer sees it over the network, but i cannot get the thing to print from the NT 4.0 computer. It keeps giving weird errors. What is supposed to be the process to get this to work?

does that mean U didn't install the drivers on the NT box? (cause U'll need to) or you might be able to run with deskjet 600C drivers

you said its giving weird errors, what are they?

Abzstrak: this is the part where i get confused. NT 4.0 doesn't support USB, but is it still supposed to work with a USB printer that is networked? Because the NT 4.0 HP drivers wont support USB cause NT4 doesn't support USB.

There's also two ways two install drivers. One is to just go into NT like normal and install the drivers. The second way is to go into the xp machine under the printer sharing properties, and i can select alternate drivers. Like i can feed it the NT 4.0 drivers so when NT 4 computers connect they get the drivers (but once i give XP those NT drivers it wont let me remove them). WHich way is better?

There are also two drivers for NT4.0 932C. There is the home version and the corporate version. Which one should i use?

If i go into the properties of the printer on the NT machine and select test page, it says "Test page failed to print. would you like to view the troubleshooter for assistance? The specified module could not be found." If i try to change the driver right above where it says test page by pressing new driver it says "unable to change the specified driver. original settings will be restored."

Nevermind...i got it to work. I just had to uninstall the drivers on both machines and reinstall them. Thanks anyway though.
