Networking a printer -- what's the best choice?

I have an OfficeJet 7110 (mid-line all-in-one) which is currently attached to one PC via USB cable and shared to everyone else on the network. Problem is, if that computer is turned off, everyone else is SOL.

I wondering if anyone here had any experience with the various hardware print servers that are available. The printer has a slot for an HP JetDirect card, but that's a rather expensive option that I would like to avoid. If I understand it correctly, most of the "print servers" will only allow the most basic functionality. Is that correct?

Suggestions? Thoughts?

ummm...there are a ton of routers that have a print server built-in. one i know of for sure is the d-link 704p. you'll want to find one that has usb printing functionality tho. i'm not sure how much control they give you over the printer, but that shouldn't be a problem seeing as the drivers on each machine should control the output.
